Gateway Trombone Faculty: Pisit Piriyaporn
Pisit is a very accomplished Trombonist and an experienced Band Instructor, Music Educator and Instrument Technician. He has a strong passion to impart his love for music and performance with students, and teaches actively in many local and international schools.
Pisit is both an accomplished classical as well as jazz musician. He has been a member of the Bangkok Symphony Orchestra, Siam Philharmonic Orchestra, Thomson Big Band and many other ensembles. His list of accolades include performances and recordings with local pop stars such as Dick Lee, as well as musicals such as Wicked, Beauty World and Chorus Line.
He is currently a doctoral student with Chulalongkorn University (Bangkok, Thailand), pursuing a Doctoral of Fine and Applied Arts (DFA) in Music Composition
